Hi, I’m Eddie and I am proud to be the Jim’s Mowing franchisee for Echunga, Adelaide Hills. I enjoy cooking and food in general, I am a keen veggie gardener and an avid cricket fan. Also enjoy supporting my AFL team, the Fremantle Dockers (sorry Adelaide, sorry Port). I love working outdoors and enjoy spending my time indulging my green thumb through gardening! I love the challenge of turning an overgrown and unkept property into a neat and tidy garden with perfectly manicured lawns! My wife Vicki and I live on a rural property near Echunga in the Adelaide Hills. We have lived on our property near Echunga for 11 ½ years now. We love living in the Hills for the quality of the lifestyle, the beauty and serenity of the landscape and the easy access to the city and suburbs when needed. Vicki is a keen horsewoman and so we share our property with horses, dogs, a cat, some chooks and, occasionally, a few cattle. Having lived and worked in quite a number of places across the country over the years, we made the decision to move back to SA in 2006 and have been very glad of that decision ever since. I particularly enjoy my role as a Jim’s Mowing franchisee for the variety of work involved and the opportunity to travel about the Hills area and meet with a wide range of clients.

I have spent most of my life working in the wine industry, firstly as a cellar hand in WA then as a winemaker after I completed my studies here in SA at Roseworthy Agricultural College. In later years I moved more into management roles including some time spent managing contract wine bottling facilities around the country. Over the last few years I have worked locally in a number of roles including working in a fodder/hardware store and as Production Manager in a dairy facility before settling on becoming a Jim’s Mowing franchisee.
